Which servers can I use Umbra with?
This release supports the Retronic 7.4 OpenGL client. Other clients need a compatible profile and verification. See the supported client list or prepare a request for development.
When does my license time begin?
Your access period begins when you first activate the key in Umbra. It runs continuously from that point, including while the application is closed. An internet connection is required at startup and for ongoing license checks.
Can I buy a plan right now?
Yes. Pay through the linked PayPal.Me page, then contact Umbra support with the PayPal transaction ID and the payer email. We check the completed payment and email your license key within 15 minutes after receiving your transaction ID and payer email.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. Both current plans are one-time PayPal payments. The 30-day plan expires after 30 days from first activation unless you request and pay for another period. Automatic subscriptions are not available yet.
How will the Stripe introductory subscription work?
When available, it will charge €1.99 for your first 24 hours. If you do not cancel, the next charge will be €7.00, starting your first 30-day term. Those first two payments add up to €8.99, not €10.98. After that, renewal will be €8.99 every 30 days until you cancel. Today's PayPal purchases do not have this automatic billing or credit.
Can I share waypoints with friends?
Yes. Cloud profiles can be shared in the public library or through private groups with a group code. Profiles can contain waypoints and Lua actions, so always review downloaded content and check that it fits your server.
What if my server isn't listed?
Contact development through the support chat. For most servers, we aim to add compatibility within 4 hours, allowing up to 24 hours after reviewing the client. The team must first confirm what is technically possible and the delivery time for your particular build.
